Indigo Chronicles Chapter 2

1Shall men see only to the horizon?

What lies behind the edge, the limitations and struggles?

2His eyes are more than what is in his head. Must he not enlarge his perspective to include the eyes of his heart and his soul?

3Who will make me a failure by uttering words of doom over my head, because they cannot see beyond what their eyes can see.

4Who will rob my honey because their voices have been turned against the bee to scare them away?

5I am not what you see, I am the Creator’s hand-made and He controls my destiny.

6Shall I be made a fool for the plain reason that someone has spoken to me as though I am?

7I must arise from that place and find where I ought to be; for if the one who leads me cannot see where I ought to be then I am in danger of being blind as I follow a blind.

8Yea, but I have seen good leadership perish as the people were not prepared to follow a good and godly leader but rather trust their old ways of corruption and evil.

9We must now embrace at all times the good and constantly resist the evil less we become acclimatized to the wrongs and find comfort in a wrong place.

10I must honor the voice of God above every other.

11I must see my life through the eyes of God.

Indigo Chronicles Chapter 1

1I have seen a generation of daughters who rebel against their fathers and sons who walk like fools. They have walked away from the foundations of the family and will be rewarded for their waywardness.

2The wicked has used their tongues to lash out against me, tongues they would never use to bless and prosper me. I have seen my own skin turn against me and cause me great pain.

3Shall a man strip his body of his own skin to find comfort and be healed.

4I have seen a son hated by his brother for his successes as he strives for excellence.

5I have seen a farmer increased his herd of pigs, but he is no more who once lived in Portmore for a two-legged pig spilled his blood over his own.

6A wicked generation they have become that shed their own brother’s blood.

7They must be confounded for division eats their soul as acid upon the skin

8I have seen a curbing of our life cycle from vertical greed.

9One man is contented with acquiring more and more while he sucks another man to become a mere skeleton.

10But God is just and will reward every man accordingly.

11My God will shut the mouths of the wicked less they devour the righteous from off the face of the earth.

12All things must praise Him, He is God.

My Chronicles

Today I begin my Chronicles with several chapters and verses, which will be named based on colours e.g. Purple Chronicles, Red Chronicles with various chapters.

In these Chronicles I hope to capture the happenings around me and speak of each of them all with the eye, mind and perspective of the word of God.

Join me on this heart-warming and soul-searching journey as I capture the suss, the sense and non-sense of living in today's world.

If I Could Inspire My Dad

If I could help him to lift his head to the sky

If I could tell him how much influence he has lying within him

Another man of champion

A lion, a man

If I could show him how he can win

If I could inspire him

Stir him to reach higher and higher

If I could show him his wings and be his wind

If I could make him believe that his seed lives on in me, deep within

If I could inspire him to change his thinking so he could embrace a better living

If I could demonstrate how his words live on,

Though I am no longer a child

If I could make him understand that I had no idea just how much I needed to protect my grown up years from my childhood experiences

He inspired me to be better, much better than he has been,

Now it’s my turn to help him be better than he has and always been

If I could inspire my dad,

I would let him know he is one of a kind, the only dad I have ever known,

The only dad I have ever had.

You Matter To Me...

You matter to me…
Every now and again it becomes so important to recognise the people we love and appreciate, people we   like being with or around, people who matter to us. So I wanted to tell you this:

You matter to me…
So I take the time to call and the time to write

You matter to me…
So I send you a text

You matter to me…
So I ask how are you doing

You matter to me…
So I come online just to say hi

You matter to me…
So for you I often pray

I don’t mean to sound selfish
But I feel so good about myself just because of you

I feel so accepted, never rejected
For these reasons and more you matter to me.
