Some of us married folks are really going to burn in hell if we do not change our ways. We murmur and complain and become ever so bitter towards each other as if God doesn’t and has never done anything right in our lives.
We are sulky and angry at almost everything, we become like the Children of Israel who God delivered from a bad place with a great promise of better but because of their disobedient and evil heart they never made it save two persons. In retrospect some of us are coming from a bad place and our marriage and family relationship may not be the ideal and quite a distant from the paradise some of us seek but it is still worth giving thanks for.
I have found that some singles do find themselves in a similar position as well and are also in need of healing lest they perish. If our souls are with our real lover, Jesus Christ the groom, then we will find so much more to be thankful for and so fewer opportunities to bicker.
The bride must become spotless to meet her groom and while you are busy counting others’ spots, be careful those spots aren’t transferred to you. Change your ways, time is running out.
