Is it true that the man generally have a greater tendency to fix what gets broken around the house? Mmmhh!
This is one of the things I have accepted and grown to love. It really is something I enjoy doing. I like fixing things especially just to see the joy on the faces. When things are right, who isn’t happy?
This morning as I was getting ready to shower for work, I noticed the toilet pipe kept on running with no sound as though the tank would reach its maximum anytime soon. The float was not triggering the water to stop flowing, i thought to myself. After completing my shower, I proceeded to remove the cover from the water tank, quickly diagnosed the problem, had it corrected in seconds and was on my merry way. It felt really good.
Women love it when their man is able to fix and care for the things around the house. I have just recently leant that the main reason a woman tend to get so worked up or be so meticulous about the way her house looks is simply because her house is a reflection of her. Is this really true? If it is, I like the idea.
I believe in my quest to be a better man for 2008 I will have to fix more of things which are broken. Men, this is something our women are relying on us to do, FIX IT!
