CELEBRATION OF BLACK HISTORY MONTH:
‘Dr. Jermaine Gordon among the honourable mentions for 2019’
February 21, 2019 - Jamaican born, Dr. Jermaine Gordon is on the VIP guest list to attend Toronto’s fourth annual TD Bank Black Diamond Ball, to be held at the luxurious Fairmont Royal York Hotel on Saturday, February 23, 2019. As one of the largest celebrations of black history month in North America, the event will be filled with entertainers, business leaders and community members for a night of unforgettable music dance and food by today’s hottest local and international talents.
The event is a black-tie affair and is part of TD Bank’s cultural events, showcasing the past and present accomplishments of Black Canadians in arts, entertainment and culture.
Dr. Jermaine Gordon is the recipient of two awards from The Canadian International Chaplaincy Association/CICA International University and Seminary and The Word of Life Ministries International/WOLMI. Dr. Gordon was honoured for his outstanding contribution to international gospel music and ministry.
Dr. Gordon is also the founder of ‘Inspiring Our Future 360°’, an emerging intervention programme geared towards empowering Jamaican children and youths. With the use of art, music, story-telling and some of the most common habits of success, these black children are motivated and inspired to live purposefully.
Dr. Gordon also launched a new journal, which he hopes to make an even greater impact, as the programme aims to impact another 1,200 children in 2019, bringing them hope, love and healing. Dr. Gordon says, ‘When you dedicate your life and time to doing important things, you meet important people who are also doing important things, what are important things? Anything that is not about you.’
Black Diamond Ball is organized by ArtXperiential, a not-for-profit organization with a mission to support emerging and established artists, encouraging dialogue and experimentation through workshops, events and exhibition opportunities.
Dr. Jermaine Gordon will be in attendance, among over 1,000 other celebrities, dignitaries and artist of all sorts. He is to receive honourable mention during the hosting of the event.

The Miserable Rhetoric
You are miserable because
Someone stepped on your ego
Someone fail to satisfy your yearning libido
Someone said the wrong things about you
Someone disappointment is making you blue
Someone missed place your stuff
Someone have you thinking, “I have had enough!”
Someone’s sulking driving you up the walls so infectious
Someone robbed you of your precious
Someone is tearing your name apart
Someone made you feel like disappearing like a fart
Someone is not like you
Someone lied to you
Not living their life according to your beliefs
Oh what grief
But…
The physically suffering children
The people who abuse, hate and kill them
The starving and hungry doesn’t make you sad
Their innocent blood on the streets doesn’t make you feel bad
