Journey
Every journey starts at the beginning
Every journey stops at the end
In between each beginning
And each end
You no doubt will find new allies
Make new foes
And make yourself some new friends

Not every journey requires walking
Not every journey requires driving
But each journey requires leaving, moving or changing
Otherwise, how will we get there if we don’t leave?
~

If there is no departing,
Then there can be no arriving
If there is no persevering
There is hardly gonna be any achieving

A journey starts not with mounting a horse
Or sailing a ship o’er and down a new path
A journey begins with a made up mind
A determination one must within their heart and soul find

A noble traveler
Stays the course amidst the rough wind
Sail on, find the strength within
Let God be your guide
Beneath His wings let your soul hide
When the journeying is done,
Its not where you have been
But how did you run
